TLDR: At least ten properties connected to Maine Cabin Masters and the Kennebec Cabin Company are available to rent in 2025-2026, ranging from $300 to $695 per night.
Most are concentrated in the Belgrade Lakes region and the Kennebec Valley, and several appeared in specific episodes of the show. The KCC headquarters in Manchester also welcomes visitors year-round with a retail store, restaurant, and summer concert series.
Most fans of Maine Cabin Masters watch the show and think: I want that. Not just the aesthetic, but the actual experience of being in one of those camps on a Maine lake, surrounded by cedar and quiet water and the kind of light that only exists in northern New England in July.
It turns out you can. The Kennebec Cabin Company has quietly built a portfolio of rentable properties connected to the show, and several of them are available right now on VRBO and Airbnb. Here’s everything you need to know.
The Kennebec Cabin Company Headquarters: Start Here
Before getting into the individual cabins, it’s worth knowing that the KCC headquarters at 915 Western Avenue in Manchester, Maine is open to visitors seven days a week, year-round.
Chase Morrill spotted the historic Daggett family homestead for sale in 2019 and turned it into the brand’s operational and cultural home.

The renovation was featured in Season 4, Episode 412.
Today the site includes a retail store stocked with Maine Cabin Masters merchandise and Maine-made goods, plus The Woodshed, the brand’s restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating, Maine microbrews on draft, and lobster rolls.
It’s the kind of place where showing up on a weekday afternoon in summer means a reasonable chance of spotting Dixie, Ryan, or Jedi after a build.
The Woodshed also runs a summer concert series called Rock the Dock from June through October, with ticketed shows on the outdoor stage built from repurposed boat docks. Weekly events include Trivia on Tuesdays, Bingo on Wednesdays, and Karaoke on Thursdays.
If you’re planning a trip around the rentals, building a night at The Woodshed into the itinerary is an easy call.
The Rentable Cabins: Every Property Listed
The current portfolio runs to ten properties across the Belgrade Lakes region, the Kennebec Valley, and the Mid-Coast. Rates are highly seasonal, with July and August commanding peak pricing and minimum seven-night stays on most lakefront properties.
On The Rocks — Belgrade, Long Pond

This is where it started. On The Rocks appeared in Season 1, Episode 4 (“Dated Cabin Turned Retreat”) and holds a special place in the show’s history as one of the earliest televised projects. The original cabin was a dated 1970s-era structure that felt disconnected from its waterfront location on Long Pond.
The crew overhauled the interior, introduced the rooftop deck that would become a Morrill signature, added a screened porch, and installed a private dock with canoes and kayaks.
The property sleeps nine across four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with nightly rates ranging from $400 to $550. It was revisited in a “Back to Camp” special, confirming its status as a fan landmark.
Book via the KCC platform on Airbnb.
Legacy Camp on Maranacook Lake — Readfield

Featured in Season 9, Episode 901 (“Legacy Camp on Maranacook Lake”), this property exemplifies the crew’s approach to multi-generational families. The build added a detached bunkhouse to the main cabin, installed air conditioning in both structures, and created a fire pit area with wood provided. Five bedrooms across the two buildings sleep six guests comfortably.
Nightly rates run $450 to $600. Book at VRBO listing 4065777. Peak summer requires a minimum seven-night stay.
Maine Cabin on the Water — Belgrade

Located on the Belgrade River near Messalonskee Lake, this is one of the portfolio’s most reviewed properties, holding an “Exceptional” rating based on 51 VRBO reviews. Guests consistently highlight the custom-carved fireplace, screened porch, and the classic Maine feel of the woodstove. Five bedrooms sleep nine guests, with one and a half bathrooms.
Rates start at $398 per night in shoulder season. Book at VRBO listing 2012706.
Floating Island Cabin — Belgrade, Long Pond

The premium property in the portfolio, and the most distinctive. The Floating Island Cabin sits on a private island on Long Pond and is connected to Ashley and Ryan Eldridge directly.
Three bedrooms sleep six guests, it’s pet-friendly, and the private island setting commands accordingly: $695 per night. Book via Airbnb or the KCC platform.
Loon Cove — Oakland, McGrath Pond

A two-bedroom plus loft layout sleeping five guests on McGrath Pond in Oakland. The property features a metal roof, exposed crossbeams, and a boat slip. Nightly rates run $350 to $500. Book at VRBO listing 2966786.
Kayakers’ Cabin — Newcastle, Damariscotta Lake

The outlier in the portfolio geographically, located on Damariscotta Lake in Newcastle on the Mid-Coast. Originally a functional boathouse, the Maine Cabin Masters transformed it into a compact lakefront retreat with a treehouse aesthetic. One bedroom plus sleeping loft, sleeps four, with kayaks and paddleboards included and a sandy shallow water entry.
Guest reviews praise the “good summer camp” feel and modern additions including a washer/dryer and smart TV. Nightly rate is $455. Book at VRBO listing 2186804.
Toad Hollow (The Dome) — Winthrop, Little Cobbossee Lake

The most architecturally unusual property in the portfolio. Toad Hollow is a geodesic dome near Little Cobbossee Lake in Winthrop, and the crew’s restoration required preserving the dome’s geometry while making it genuinely livable.
The result includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, a rock garden, and hillside sunset views that guests consistently describe as “magical.” Nightly rates run $300 to $450. Book via Airbnb or the KCC platform.
The Temple Camp — Temple, Drury Pond

Featured in Season 8, Episode 808 (“I Get By With A Little Help From My Froggy Friends”), The Temple Camp on Drury Pond was transformed through the installation of European-style windows across the water-facing wall, turning a dark interior into a bright, pine-framed space with a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
A large deck and the surrounding treeline complete the setting. Nightly rates run $350 to $450. Book via Airbnb or the KCC platform.
Red Top House and Red Top Cottage — Winthrop, Annabessacook Lake

Two adjacent properties on Annabessacook Lake in Winthrop round out the Kennebec Valley inventory. The Red Top House sleeps eight across three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a stone fireplace, stone patio, outdoor fire pit, and screened porch. Nightly rates run $500 to $700.
The Red Top Cottage is a smaller companion property sleeping four to six guests with direct sandy beach access and yard games, available at $1,638 per week. Both book via Airbnb or the KCC platform.

What to Know Before You Book
These are genuine Maine camps, not resort hotels. A few things worth knowing before you commit to a reservation.
Peak summer pricing (July and August) typically requires a seven-night minimum stay, and rates at the upper end of the ranges listed above. Shoulder season in May, June, and September offers better availability and pricing, and Maine in early fall is arguably the best time to be on the water anyway.
Some properties, including the Floating Island Cabin and certain off-grid listings, require boat transport or travel on unpaved roads. The eco-cabins at Wakefield Wildlife Sanctuary specifically note that luggage must be wheeled a quarter-mile down a steep road. Read the individual listings carefully.
Maine’s insect population in June and early July is not a joke. The screened porches on properties like On The Rocks and the Maine Cabin on the Water are features, not flourishes. Bring bug spray regardless of which property you choose.
Guest ratings across the portfolio run between 9.4 and 10.0, which reflects the construction quality as much as the setting. The cabins look the way they looked on television because the work was done properly the first time. That’s the whole point of how the Maine Cabin Masters build.
And if you want to know more about the crew behind the work, the full cast guide has everyone covered.
